Lip Filler
From £300
Whilst fear of the overdone lip is well placed, filler to define and enhance the mouth is an incredibly popular treatment. Using sophisticated products and artful technique, it is possible to restore and enhance the lips in a beautiful and natural looking way.
Lips are such an integral part of the facial aesthetic, second only to the eyes in expressing how you feel. Be it playful or put-out, there is a lot to be said for a pretty pout.
It is vital to respect the nuances of each lip and observe individual face shape and features overall, to ensure the most alluring results may be achieved. The detail of the lip is far more important than simply adding volume.
If rejuvenating the lips you must consider the entire unit of the lower face, taking into account the surrounding tissues and structures. Shadows at the mouth corners and a downward turn, for example, as well as the appearance of harsh “smokers lines”. Equally, a dimpling chin that lacks structure cannot support a fresh overall impression of the mouth.
Softening, supporting and hydrating the area as a whole, is the most effective strategy when rejuvenating.
Lips are sensitive, which is why a numbing cream is applied 20 minutes prior to treatment. There is also a local anaesthetic in the filler itself to ensure optimum comfort levels are maintained. Ice packs ensure bruising is kept to a minimum and the avoidance of blood thinners prior to treatment is essential.

The Process
Due to the sensitive nature of our lips, we apply numbing cream 20 minutes before the procedure. To keep you as comfortable as possible, we also have local anaesthetic in the filler along with ice packs to keep bruising to a minimum.
1. Comfort
We then skillfully mold and shape the filler to achieve the desired contour and symmetry of the lips. This may involve adding volume to enhance fullness, defining the lip borders for a sharper outline, or balancing asymmetries to create a more harmonious shape.

Frequently asked questions
-
You may experience swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising at the injection site. Uneven swelling is normal and should balance out as it subsides. These effects typically resolve within a few days to two weeks.
-
Bruising can occur despite precautions to avoid it. If bruising happens, it will typically be apparent immediately after treatment. Bruises may change colour as they heal, from red to purple, black, green, and eventually yellow. Using Arnica and Vitamin K cream can help speed up the healing process.
-
We aim for subtle, natural results, which take 2-4 weeks to fully settle. A review can be scheduled afterward, where additional filler can be added for a fee, or, if needed, filler can be adjusted or dissolved with hyaluronidase.
-
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. Numbing cream and local anaesthetic are used for added comfort.
-
It’s best to avoid applying makeup for 12-24 hours after your filler procedure to reduce the risk of infection or irritation at the injection site.
