A New Space
Having done Harley Street for a decade, “pastures new” came with much deliberation and considered footwork. When speaking about the patients who make up my practice, I have always referred to the cohort as sophisticated with an edge. This set the tone for my quest.
From Soho to Shepherd’s Market, it wasn’t until I landed in Manchester Square that I exhaled a feeling of being “home”. Chic, discrete and off the-beaten-track (though a 5-minute meander from Bond Street), it’s an elegant neighbourhood. Just across from The Wallace Collection and a 30 second flow from the quirky-cool-village-vibe that is Marylebone Lane.
The space is tranquil and airy with front facing windows on to the private gardens (to which we have exclusive access). The calm configuration of the square is offset by the wonderfully eccentric goings-on of Marylebone Highstreet, but a ten second walk away. There are beautiful dining spots too - Delamina, Clarette and Zoilo – to name but three, all within a minute’s radius.
The house itself is peaceful, with a calm and cool collective in residence. Olivia is the elegant, upbeat and down-to-earth receptionist.
Non-resident parking is limited to a smattering of spaces on the Square itself, but there are various parking spots in surrounding streets, such as Spanish Place, George Street and Mandeville Place.
